We Will Not Submit !
Not one major network sent a satellite truck or camera crew to this event. Without bloggers this newsworthy event would have remained unknown to the public and history.

Subject : Am I sending out unwanted messages or too many ?
Hello
I have noticed something here on my Facebook page that I am not sure about. First over 2800 of our 3600+ "friends" have never opened up our last message sent out to all of our friends. I am not sure if there is a glitch on Facebook, if Facebook does not want messages sent out like this anymore or if those people really do not want to receive our messages.
Second I noticed that a little over 700 people clicked Declined or Not interested. I…

Dear Veteran Friend,
Wow ... What a week it has been ! We had a super interview with “Successful Veteran” Kelly Perdew and had a lot of great feedback that was posted on our group wall.
Speaking of feedback, we saw some interesting trends and findings from the USVA’s first-ever membership survey that was sent out a few weeks ago and we want to share it with you.
We all know that the employment market is still not good in our country, but we found it to be even worst among our veteran members with 40.6% of those responding indicating they were unemployed.
And while unemployment is still way too high among veterans, there are services and resources that you said you needed to help find employment and success in your careers following the military : professional networking…

So, the question is how - at one and the same time - we can ensure we give no quarter to terrorism and organized crime, while still advancing the liberties our society is founded upon… The British way cannot be a head-in-the-sand approach that ignores the fact that the world has changed with the advent of terrorism, which aims for civilian casualties on a massive scale and which respects not only no law, but also no recognizable moral framework. Instead, it must be an approach that is prepared to make the difficult decisions to protect our security – not by ignoring the demands of liberty but always at the same time…

Will Pleasants - June 17 - 19:38
Although that is not the title of this very recent media release by Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) to address all the questions now swirling around the Internet dealing with Agent Orange, but my title sure raises too many valid questions that require answers now.
Without agreeing or disagreeing with everything that is in this recent June 11, 2010 press release from VVA President John Rowan, we leave that to our readers.
Below without comment is what VVA has to say about all the discussions floating around in cyberspace. The only comment I wish to make as a Life Member…

Rohan Coombs
US Marine, Persian Gulf War Veteran
Jamaica
Rohan came to America with his mom and sisters from Jamaica when he was only 9 years old.
He graduated from high school in New York and promptly joined the military to serve the country he loved.
Rohan joined the marines in 1988 and was deployed to Iraq a few years later. While in the military Rohan filed for his citizenship but was told “You are property of the United States Government, that makes you a citizen”.
No further action was taken on Rohan’s part because he wasn’t going to second guess his commanding…

Well I will try to put a selection of photos every month if you are playing that game with me. I can surf the net to find images but why should I do this if I can let you send you own photos with descriptions and by the same way giving a small hello to you relatives in the USA.
So no problem at all but please don't send me photos sized like Postal stamps. They must be at least 1024 pixels wide and I will do the rest and even correct them if they are not to good. Don't flow me with 1500 photos at pone time as well as make sure not to forget to add the only allowed descriptions and informations. I am not a censurer…

Comment : Remember our Veterans
Coined sometime during World War II, the term “walking wounded” referred to those combatants whose wounds were not severe enough to merit a litter or ambulance. It also applied to those with “combat fatigue”, a euphemism used to describe post-traumatic stress disorder.
Look around today and you will see them everywhere; bagging your groceries, washing your car, mowing your lawns, roaming the streets. You may not be able to discern…
